If you need support with your English skills, we can help.
Learn Devon offers a number of free, online English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) courses, designed to improve the language skills of non-native English speakers.
Through our classes, you can build confidence, make new friends and gain a qualification all while improving your English. Our class sizes are small and are taught by friendly and supportive tutors.
As part of the enrolment process, all ESOL learners will have a quick skills check to understand their current level of English. This skills check will help our team to place learners onto the right course.
What courses are available?
- ESOL: Speaking and listening for speakers of other languages – Starting Wednesday 3rd September from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Delivered online. Find out more here.

- ESOL: Reading for speakers of other languages – Starting Thursday 18th September from 6pm to 8pm. Delivered online. Find out more here.
- ESOL: Writing for speakers of other languages – Starting Tuesday 23rd September from 9.30am to 12pm. Delivered online. Find out more here.
