Choosing the Right Course
Our Learning Advisers are here to help you understand your options, talk through your goals, and choose the course that’s right for you.
They can support you by:
- Providing clear information, advice and guidance
- Helping you choose the right course and level
- Planning your next steps — employment, another qualification, volunteering or growing your confidence
Their role is to help you make good, informed decisions and feel confident about where learning can take you.

Help with Learning
Our Learning Support Team is here to help you learn in the way that works best for you. Support can be arranged before you enrol or at any time during your course.
We offer:
- Personal Learning Plans – support tailored to your needs
- Help in the classroom – someone to support you with understanding lessons and overcoming challenges
- Help with homework and organisation – support between classes to manage your time and revisit tricky topics
- Accessibility tools – assistive technology to make learning easier for everyone
- Exam support – arrangements such as rest breaks, readers and extra time to help you do your best
Our aim is simple: to make learning accessible, inclusive and effective for you.
Financial & Practical Support
We can also help with financial support and wider wellbeing needs. This may include:
- Discretionary funding (e.g., help with travel, childcare, books or materials — depending on eligibility)
- Links to local services – trusted organisations, community groups, charities and specialist support
