Overview
This course is for anyone who wants to feel safer, more confident and more balanced when using digital devices and the internet. It is suitable for beginners or those wanting to improve their digital wellbeing, manage online stress, and build confidence in today’s digital world. The course is supportive, friendly and open to all adults.
You will complete a set of online courses designed to support your well‑being, confidence and safety online. Topics include online safety (e‑safety), digital literacy, mental health awareness and confidence‑building techniques. The learning helps you develop healthier digital habits and feel more confident and in control when using technology.
You will learn online through guided sessions with a tutor, taking place at set times. The course runs over three weekly sessions, each lasting two hours. Your tutor will explain the learning clearly, support you during sessions, and guide you through any short tasks to complete between sessions.
