Overview

This course is for adults with learning disabilities or difficulties who want to feel more confident and comfortable in everyday life. If you sometimes feel nervous, unsure, or you would like a boost, you are welcome here. Together we will look at your strengths, practise confidence and communication, learn simple ways to manage worries, and build helpful routines and organisation skills. No qualifications or experience needed.

During this course, you will learn simple, practical ways to feel more confident and proud of yourself. You will explore what can make you feel worried or nervous and try strategies that can help. You will identify what you are good at and how your strengths can help at home, in the community, and at work. You will also practise speaking up, building a daily routine, and getting more organised.

You will learn step by step with a supportive tutor. There will be time to ask questions, practise new skills, and celebrate progress. You will be part of a friendly group where people can share ideas (only if they want to) and learn from each other in a safe, respectful space.
