This course is ideal for anyone considering starting their own business or working as a freelancer. It suits individuals who have a business idea they want to explore, or people seeking the foundational knowledge required to launch and manage a small enterprise successfully. It's perfect for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners at the very beginning of their journey.
You'll learn the essential steps to setting up and running a small business. Key topics include understanding the legal structures (sole trader, partnership), developing a basic business plan, identifying your target market, managing finances (basic bookkeeping and tax obligations), and effective self-marketing strategies. You'll gain the confidence to take your idea from concept to reality.
Learning is delivered fully online via live classes, interactive group discussions, and self-paced activities. You'll use Google Classroom for case studies, resources, and submissions. Your tutor will provide guidance and feedback on tasks related to your business idea. Expect some independent study time.
