Living in the UK - Daily conversations

Overview

If you live in/near Totnes, are learning English and want to practice speaking for everyday life in the UK, this course is for you. Unfortunately, the venue this class is in (English in Totnes Limited) does not have lift access.

You will learn simple words and phrases for daily conversations. You will practice speaking in common situations like shopping, travelling, and meeting people.

You will learn in a friendly classroom with other students. Lessons are fun and include activities like role play, quizzes, and group work. Tutors will help you and give clear guidance.

Entry requirements

You need a little English, but you do not need to be confident. This course will help you improve.

Assessment criteria

There is no exam. Your tutor will talk to you and give feedback during lessons.

What do I need?

Bring a pen, pencil, and paper. A dictionary can help.

If you have the internet and a computer or phone at home, it will help you practice between lessons. This is optional.
