Get confident using the internet
Overview
This course is open to all, particularly if you want to become more confident in using the internet for everyday activities to save time and money. Staying safe online is embedded throughout this course.
This programme is aimed at improving learners understanding and confidence in using the internet including how to use a browser, internet safety, interne shopping, internet services, accessing knowledge available on the internet. You will build confidence in using online banking and accessing the NHS along with using Google, Teams, and YouTube. You will learn how to ‘Bookmark’ favourite websites and how to search effectively to find resources and free online courses.
You will learn with your tutor, in a small group. The course will include practical tasks to learn skills that you can use online and at home. Your tutor can tailor some of the course to your own interests and hobbies. Your tutor will support you throughout the course and will give you feedback.
