Overview
This course is for adults who want to improve their maths skills for everyday life, work, or further study. You will develop maths skills used in everyday situations, including working with numbers, calculations, time, shape and space, and data handling. The course follows the Pearson Functional Skills Maths specification (2019 reforms) and helps you apply maths confidently in real‑life and work‑related contexts.
You will learn online in small, supportive classes using Google Classroom. Lessons include tutor‑led teaching, practical activities, group work, and independent tasks you can complete at home. Courses run for two and a half hours per week. You will need a laptop or tablet to take part (this course is not suitable to be completed on a mobile phone).
