Overview

This 3-session workshop is perfect for parents and carers with children in Key Stage 2 (ages 6–11) who have an interest in coding and robotics. If you already have some basic programming experience and want to explore more, this course is for you and your child! This course is for those who have attended rhino rampage.

You will develop skills in building and programming autonomous LEGO robots using sensors, sound, distance, and data. Each session includes a hands-on challenge: including Rhino Rampage to explore distance, time, and direction; Hopper’s Great Escape to tackle a prototyping challenge by modifying code and designs; Kiki the Helper Dog to apply testing methods for success, and Breakdance Bots.

You will work in a small, friendly group alongside your child, combining teamwork and independent tasks. Every session is practical and fun!

How do I enrol?

Unfortunately, this course is now full. We do however, have a waiting list which you can join and in the event of someone pulling out, we will notify everyone on that list at the same time. It will then be on a first come first serve basis.
