Bits and Bots; creative coding using Lego
Overview
Do you struggle to help your child with their computer homework? Would you like to know what makes computers tick, explore Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) subjects or learn about computer coding in a fun and interactive way? If so, these workshops are for you and your child!
Along with your child you will work in small groups on a variety of STEM projects, exploring how computers use maths and programming to control simple lego robots and other devices. With the help of our supportive and friendly tutors you will gain an insight into how computers work and learn some simple programming skills to control your lego built robots.
You will learn in a small and welcoming class. You will work with others and on your own alongside your child. Our tutors are supportive and friendly. During the course, the tutor will give you feedback to help you make progress.
