If you are already confident with Office applications and want to build on your knowledge and skills, this course is ideal for you. This is a Level 2 course and is a considerable commitment as you will need to complete 2 units out of 4 to gain the full qualification. (word processing software and presentation software or spreadsheet software and photo editing software.)
You will learn how to produce professional-looking documents in Microsoft Word accurately and efficiently. For the spreadsheet software you will use advanced tools in Excel to produce complex spreadsheets with visual data.
This course will take place in The Kennaway Centre in a small group with an experienced and supportive tutor.
You should already be confident with your Digital and IT skills before enrolling on this course and you may already have completed a Level 1 IT course or equivalent. We may ask you to complete an initial assessment before you start the course to make sure this is the right course for you.
You will get feedback from your tutor in the sessions to let you know how you are progressing, and you will also complete an individual learning plan to help you keep on track and so you know where you are in the course and what you need to do next. You will need to complete a portfolio of work for each unit, which your tutor will assess.
