Designed for people already in work, volunteers, or those preparing to enter employment, these courses provide practical training in key areas of workplace safety. The COSHH Awareness course helps learners understand how to work safely with hazardous substances, recognise risks and follow important safety procedures. Meanwhile, the Food Safety and Hygiene course covers essential topics such as food contamination, personal hygiene, safe storage and food safety legislation.
These courses are suitable for a wide range of sectors including catering, hospitality, healthcare, childcare, retail and community services.
Learners begin with a friendly online session through Google Classroom, where a Learn Devon tutor provides support with enrolment and accessing the learning platform.
