Project to support employment in Exeter launches

Posted on: 22 October 2020

We are proud to be part of Exeter Works, a one-stop shop for employment information, practical advice and signposting that can help build a new future for individuals and businesses.

A new project aiming to keep Exeter’s employee economy moving and to minimise unemployment launches today. Exeter Works, a joint collaboration between Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Exeter City Council, will launch with a website signposting useful resources for individuals looking for work, developing their skills or facing redundancy.

The project launched as part of the Chamber’s online event [Re]Focus, which brought together one hundred members of the business community, sharing information about the website as well as people’s experiences of recruiting, redundancy, securing a job, winning an apprenticeship and starting a business during the pandemic.
