Boost your maths confidence with Multiply

Skills for Life logoDo you struggle with using maths in everyday situations? If you answered ‘Yes’, then Multiply is for you.

Multiply is a new project that is funded by the Government to help individuals develop their maths skills. Learn Devon is delighted to be supporting the project across Devon’s communities. Through Multiply, individuals will be able to access free short courses and workshops that will help them improve their numeracy and maths ability.

Having a good understanding of basic maths can be incredibly helpful in day-to-day life from paying bills, calculating food costs to supporting your child with their homework. Feeling confident with maths is important in daily life at home and at work.

Learning to suit your needs

As part of the Multiply project, Learn Devon is offering a range of short courses and workshops so that individuals can improve their maths skills without having to commit to a full course. Our courses will either be online and in-person and are available at various times through the day.

Learn Devon has centres across Devon and we will be hosting in-person courses at our four main centres in Bideford, Exmouth, Newton Abbot and Tavistock. Alongside this, we will also be hosting some additional in-person courses in Barnstaple, Exeter, Holsworthy, Ilfracombe, Okehampton, South Molton and Torrington.

Who is it for?

If you’re aged 19 and over and don’t have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent), Multiply is for you. Through Multiply, you can access free numeracy courses to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.
