Maths and English GCSE and Functional Skills Q&A Sessions
Posted on: 12 July 2020
Join us for our Virtual Question and Answer session with our maths tutor Cheryl, English tutor Sim and learning support co-ordinator Alan. They’ll be ready to answer all your burning questions about learning maths and English at both GCSE and functional skills levels at Learn Devon.
GCSE as well as Functional Skills Levels
We will cover both GCSE and functional skills levels for maths and English, so if you are thinking about brushing up on your skills or need a GCSE qualification come along to the Q&A session and meet our super friendly team.
You can register for the session through the link below. Once you completed the simple registration form you will receive the link through which you will be able to join the live session. We will start promptly at 7 p.m. on Thursday 13th August. If you click on the link before 7 p.m. you will be held in a waiting area and automatically join when we start.
Can’t make the Q&A session above? No worries, we have one scheduled for every week until the end of summer.
Just click on the date that suits you and register to join the Q&A then.
How does a Q&A session look like?
We will be using Zoom Webinars to host the Questions and Answers session. You don’t need to download Zoom onto your computer as you can also join through your web browser. Since we will be using Zoom’s webinar functionality you will not be joining through your webcam or microphone – meaning you will be able to see our team but they won’t be able to see you. You will have the opportunity to ask questions through typing them in via the Q&A tab or at the end of the session you will be able to turn on your microphone and join through audio and ask questions that way. We will also be broadcasting the session live on Facebook, so if you’d prefer, join us there. Either way, we are excited to see many of you at the session!
What if you have already decided that you’d like to enrol?
Please fill in our contact submission form and our friendly team will contact you to arrange a skills check with one of our learning support co-ordinators to help you enrol on the course at the level that’s right for you.
