FREE Women into Technology Day Conference – encouraging women to pursue a career in technology

Posted on: 5 May 2019

Animation, 3D design, robotics, computers – these are all common aspects of today’s technological, digital age. However, did you know, in the sixties, the ratio of women to men working in technology was 50:50?

Today, despite the fact that there are a lot more opportunities and advancements, only 20% of the workforce in technology is women.

Inspired by listening to Professor Susan Black on Radio 4’s The Life Scientific programme, we are hoping to inspire this to change! We want to encourage more women to take up careers in technology.

Come along and join us at our inspirational day conference.

When: 23 May 2019   9am – 4pm (registration opens at 8:45am)

Where:  Ockment Centre, North Street, Okehampton EX20 1AR
