At Learn Devon we are doing everything we can to ensure all our learners get to learn in a Covid safe environment. We want everyone to feel confident returning to face to face learning in our classrooms and have put measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Masks in communal areas

We are continuing to encourage all of our staff and learners to wear masks while walking around the building and spending time in communal areas. When you are seated at your desk in the classroom we would encourage you to continue wearing your mask if you are able, however, if you prefer to remove your mask then please do so. Please note that where a member of staff needs to work in close proximity then they may request that you wear your mask during this interaction.

Sanitising stations

We have sanitising stations in all classrooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness throughout our buildings, so you are able to sanitise when you enter and before you leave the building and also have them in hallways and communal areas for your convenience. Signs are on the walls throughout our buildings to remind learners and staff alike to use hand sanitiser and wash their hands regularly.

Clean desks and equipment

All desks and appliances are wiped down before and after each use with antibacterial wipes. Increased hygiene practice is in place in all of our centres with cleaning stations positioned in multiple locations across the buildings.

Increased ventilation

We will ensure increased ventilation of all rooms in use and where possible open doors and windows, with consideration to fire regulations and safety.

Return to face to face learning safely

We want you to feel safe when you attend face to face learning in our centres and hope the measures we have put in place will help make you feel at ease when attending courses in our classrooms.
