Do you like roses and have you a space that needs decorating, or know someone you would like to give a gift to?

Using everyday maths skills will enable you to create beautiful crafts. Building confidence in space and shape, measuring and symmetry to develop craft skills and explore how maths is used in everyday crafting.

You will be guided through the processes needed to turn paper table napkins into beautiful 3-dimensional roses. You will learn to measure using a ruler and how to fold paper into shapes; rectangles, squares and triangles without using scissors. You will explore shape and space, measuring and symmetry as well as positioning and patterns to make beautiful paper roses. You will be taught by a supportive and friendly tutor who will do their best to provide lots of practical help to support you
