How do I enrol?

Overview

Would you like to apply for a job or a volunteering opportunity and do not feel you are quite ready for this?

Would you like to develop skills and build confidence to enable you to succeed in an interview and be appointed in a job? Would you benefit from understanding what a working day is like and experience all that it entails? You will work towards achieving a qualification which will prepare you for either working or volunteering. This course is available to adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities.

You will learn about the experience of what a ‘working day’ looks and feels like. You will use and improve your communication and technology skills, english and maths, as well as learning some practical skills. You will work in small groups, where support and training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to share ideas. All these activities will contribute towards a nationally recognised qualification. The course will take place in one of our local learning centres.
