Living in the UK - More daily conversations

Overview

If you are learning English as a new language and have been to a Daily Conversations course already, then this is the right course for you.

You will continue to improve your knowledge and understanding of routine conversations. This course will enable you to practice conversations that you may have every day in the UK. You will also learn some new words and phrases to help in everyday situations. You will meet people from different countries and cultures, so it could be an opportunity to make friends and practice your language skills.

Our lessons are fun and interactive.  Our tutors will give you help and guidance. You will be learning face to face in a welcoming environment.  You will work with others using a variety of resources e.g. quizzes, role play, and other activities provided by the tutor.

Entry requirements

Some knowledge of spoken and written English will be helpful for this course. It will provide you with additional vocabulary to support daily life.

Assessment criteria

There is no exam.  Your tutor will provide you with verbal feedback to help you make progress through discussion during the class. 

What do I need?

You will need a pen, pencil and paper.  If you have access to a dictionary, it may also be useful. 

Although it is not essential, access to the internet and a digital device at home may be useful for home study and practice.  

What can I do next?

After completing this course, you would be able to progress to further learning such as our Living & Working in the UK course or ESOL language qualification courses.
