Healthy eating on a budget - food bank
Overview
This course is for parents and carers who would like to learn some new ideas to encourage healthy eating for themselves and their family while staying within a budget
How to prepare meals that are interesting, fun and healthy while being aware of budgeting and cost. The course includes preparing a variety of different healthy meals and gives ideas on how to encourage children to participate in the meal choices.
Our classes are small and welcoming and will be run by one of our experienced Family Learning tutors. You will take part in discussions, demonstrations and activities for you as parents and for your children. You will take part in both preparing food and hands on cooking tasks. You will also take home with you, the meal that you have prepared in class.
