How do I enrol?

Overview

This course is for anyone who may wish to improve their existing digital skills, for work and everyday life. You may already have completed an Entry 3 in essential digital skills, or you may wish to brush up your existing digital skills. It will support your progression to a work role where digital literacy skills are required and will boost your career prospects by the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.

This course focuses on developing core competencies for the workplace, developing skills and knowledge in the following 5 areas: using devices and handling Information, editing and creating, communicating, transacting, and being safe and responsible online. The course covers an understanding of hardware, software, operating systems, and commonly used applications. The focus is primarily on digital skills for work with a secondary focus on digital skills for life.

You will learn with one of our experienced tutors, who will guide you through the course. The course will include classroom-based activities in small groups, it will run for 15 weeks, and you will be expected to commit to the whole course.
