Essential digital skills (Entry 3)
Overview
Would you like to improve your digital skills to be more confident using a laptop or computer? Do you have some digital skills but want to be able to participate in life, work, or study? You may like to gain a nationally recognised qualification. If so, then this Entry Level 3 qualification is for you. Whether you are looking to develop employment prospects or want to use the internet and access online services, this course will help you engage in today’s digital world.
You will learn about online safety and responsibility including protecting personal information and being aware of various online threats. You will learn how to communicate with friends, family or colleagues using email, how to create and edit various documents, handle information, save and store files, folders and documents, and how to make online transactions to access different goods and services such as online banking and booking tickets for travel or entertainment.
You will learn with one of our experienced tutors, who will guide you through the course. The course will include classroom-based activities in small groups, it will run for 15 weeks, and you will be expected to commit to the whole course.
