Overview

Would you like to improve your digital skills to be more confident using a laptop or computer? Do you have some digital skills but want to be able to participate fully in life, work, or study? You may like to gain a nationally recognised qualification? If so, then this Entry Level 3 course is for you. Whether you are looking to develop employment prospects or want to use the internet, access online services, and communicate with others, this course will help you engage in today’s digital world.

You will learn about online safety and responsibility (protecting personal information and being aware of various online threats); communicating with friends and family or colleagues (using email); creating and editing various documents; handling information: (searching, saving and storing files, folders and documents); and how to make online transactions to access different goods and services such as online banking and booking tickets for travel or entertainment.

The course will be delivered in a small group using a laptop in the Bideford Art Centre. An experienced tutor will guide you through the course.
