Award in Enterprise

Overview

If you are being supported on a day-to-day basis but hope to be more independent in your daily life, then this course is for you. You will be interested in developing a social enterprise. This award is offered at Entry level.

Learners will take part in planning, promoting and delivering the event as well as making the products to be sold.

You will join with others in discussing, planning and making decisions. You will identify and take on specific roles within the enterprise activity. You can choose from making, promoting and selling products. Equipment and resources will be provided for you to use. This course takes place at the Arts Centre in Bideford.

Entry requirements

This course if free for anyone who is 19 and over. You are likely to have little or no experience of running an enterprise activity.

Assessment criteria

There will be a short initial assessment to see if this course is right for you. You will add to a portfolio of evidence each week as you work towards this Gateway qualification. Your progress will be discussed with you individually, to make sure the class is meeting your needs.

What do I need?

A pen and notebook would be useful to make notes. All other resources will be supplied by Learn Devon.
