Wise old owls
Who is this course for?
If you are looking for something fun, interesting and a little bit different to do with your children this Half-Term, then this workshop is perfect.
Come along and have a go at making a fabric owl.
You will be guided, by our parent tutor, through the processes needed to make a beautiful soft furnishings Owl.
The session is designed to promote working with your child/ren in a supportive setting where your creativity will unfold and you will be proud of your achievements together.
Make special memories and create something beautiful.
Support and feedback
You will get continual support and feedback from your tutor throughout the session and have opportunities to discuss and review your progress.
Additional costs and requirements
All resources will be provided.
Please bring a bag to take your owl home in.
The session is most suitable for families with children aged over 6 years.
We can only accept a maximum of 3 children per accompanying adult, Maximum age 11 years and a minimum age of 3 years old.
Please contact your local centre to provide details of your accompanying child/ren.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will not need to do anything in your own time.
About the tutor
Amanda graduated from the University of Kent and worked at the Kent Institute of Art and Design.
Amanda moved to the West Country and has worked for Learn Devon, tutoring adult and community learning courses for Devon County Council since 2002.
