Stretches for the desk worker
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone that wants to learn and practice Pilates’s stretches to alleviate muscular and joint stiffness and tension because of long periods of been sitting in front of a desk.
During this course you will learn:
– To understand and improve posture alignment.
– To improve mobility, flexibility, and balance.
– Learn Pilates breathing technique when stretching.
– Learn practical stretches to alleviate muscular and joint tension on specific areas of body, as result of sitting for long periods of time.
– Learn to relax when stretching applying Pilates’ principles to reduce anxiety and enhance your wellbeing.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course via the online sessions. You will work with your tutor on your personal needs within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve further.

No previous knowledge is needed.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone/headphones and a good internet connection.
To fill in The Health and Safety form requires before joining sessions.

“How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom. Your course will include practical Pilates stretches and discussions on best practice; your tutor will support you throughout. Your tutor will suggest practical Pilates stretches to practice in your own time.
Resources and additional information
You also need a Pilates Mat, wear comfortable clothes allowing movement, a hand towel, a water bottle to keep hydrated.
