Mindfulness: sustaining practice
Who is this course for?
This one-off session is suitable for those looking to refresh their Mindfulness practice or learning how to establish and sustain their Mindfulness practice in daily life.
In this course you will:
– Refresh your understanding of Mindfulness and Meditation.
– Refresh your approach, motivations and incentives to practice
– Refresh the benefits of practising Mindfulness and the evidence to support these.
– Refresh and learn top tips on how to sustain Mindfulness practice every day – both in a meditation practice and in the midst of daily activities.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course via the online sessions. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone/headphones and a good internet connection

“How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom. Your course will include practical tasks and discussions and your tutor will support you throughout. Your tutor will suggest ideas on what to practice in your own time.
What can I do next?
Continuing with Mindfulness practice supports emotional resilience and wellbeing.
After this course you may like to enrol on more of Learn Devon’s Mindfulness courses, which will begin again in January 2022, or another wellbeing- related course. You can also practice and build on what you have learnt using Apps such as Headspace or Calm. ”
