Who is this course for?
Anyone of any age or writing ability. Would you like a write a diary.
This short course will explore our feelings and emotions concerning our ever changing seasons. Brighten up your Winter evenings!
Creative writing can also help with your wellbeing – it’s been proven to be hugely beneficial to help with stress, clarify thoughts and feelings and even improve personal mood and increase positivity. So, why not give it a go!
You will be working with your tutor in a virtual learning environment using an online platform called zoom.
Diaries are a such a good way of recording emotions and ideas as well as daily activities. Cindy will share key features for diary writing and encourage new ways to record your experiences.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course through online face to face discussions and written feedback on your progress. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course.
Additional costs and requirements
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone/headphones and a good internet connection.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
Your tutor will suggest ideas on what to practice in your own time and will signpost you to other opportunities to support your learning.
About the tutor
My name is Cindy Squire and I have been a tutor with Learn Devon for about 15 years. I love the poetry and creative writing sessions as I’m always amazed with the fascinating topics each person writes about, and it’s a real joy to share the end results!
