Creative writing: seasons of mists
Who is this course for?
This course is for those who have an interest in expressing their thoughts, feelings and ideas on paper and creating poems and/or expressive prose.
You will learn about:
• Developing ideas inspired by the Autumn season.
• How to plan ideas.
• Different features of poetry writing.
• How to express thoughts and ideas onto paper.
• How to write various styles of poetry or prose.
• Sharing ideas with others in a safe learning environment.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you throughout the course via the online sessions. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. You will receive feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve.
Additional costs and requirements
This course is suitable for those with a GCSE or CSE English, equivalent or above. Or someone who would like to learn more about the English language. Must have an open mind!
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone / (headphones – if possible but not essential) and a good internet connection.
You will need pen and paper, laptop / PC / phone / tablet to jot down notes and a quiet space to work in.

“How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom.
During the sessions there will be set tasks and discussions with your tutor and other learners. You will work on developing your ideas around set themes. Your tutor will give feedback and will support you throughout the course.
