Who is this course for?
This is a beginners’ course which is suitable for all.
You will be taught in a small, friendly and supportive group where you will have the opportunity to gain confidence and make new friends.
Support and feedback
You will get continual support and feedback from your tutor throughout the course and have opportunities to discuss and review your progress.

A notepad, pen and a drink will be useful.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
There is no requirement to do any extra study outside of the course, but you may find that you wish to continue developing the writing that you have worked on during the session.
About the tutor
Carla Jenkins has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, a degree in English Language and Literature, is CELTA qualified and has been teaching English in one way or another since 2005.
Passionate about Creative Writing and how it can improve one’s wellbeing, Carla is currently studying with the Metanoia Institute for an MSc in ‘Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes’.
‘Through writing we can take control of an experience and often make more sense of it. This clarification can improve mood and wellbeing’.
