How to relax and perform well in exams
Who is this course for?
Has your anxiety impeded your exam performance in the past?
If you would like to learn some effective relaxation and mindfulness techniques to help keep you calm then this workshop is for you!
Guided Relaxation exercises are excellent for lowering excessive adrenaline cortisol levels and Mindfulness can also help relieve anxiety and depression. Regular Mindfulness practice also helps develop focus and concentration.
In this 2 hour introductory workshop, you will learn –
• Several different easy & practical Relaxation and Mindfulness exercises, all using a combination of the senses, body and breath
• How you can take charge of stress & anxiety and develop your ability to put your mind at ease
• Improve focus & concentration – helping you to build on your existing skills, strengths and talents, or develop new ones
• Improve sleep and reduce the risk of headaches, migraines & other tension or stress-related problems
Support and feedback
Through your practice of the Relaxation exercises taught.
Paul will give each learner feedback, as needed.
Additional costs and requirements
You will need to wear loose clothing, or at least clothing that is not too restrictive. It is important that you are as physically comfortable as possible.
Please bring a notebook and pen.

About the tutor
Paul Beard (Dip. THY&R [Transformation Hatha Yoga & Relaxation], Dip P. Couns.Coach & SRMHC Registered Teacher of Pure Meditation Foundation) is a qualified Yoga & Relaxation instructor, Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher and Coach.
Since 2001, Paul has been training and teaching individuals and groups in self-development, well-being and stress management practices.
