Creative writing: Writing all genres
Who is this course for?
A great opportunity to be part of a writers’ group where we will look at a different theme and genre each week. These will be turned into storylines and plots to enable you to write a short story, piece of prose or a poem. With the help and guidance of an experienced tutor you will make progress, sending in work each week for feedback, etc.
You will work in groups and pairs to help develop and progress your thoughts and observations. Using planning devices, you will add structure to your ideas and build storylines for your writing. Attention to detail will also be encouraged through careful observation of and thinking deeply about your characters.
Support and feedback
You will receive weekly online tutor feedback & during the session. Plus initial & end of course assessment.
Additional costs and requirements
Pen and paper or laptop.
No extra costs.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will produce 4 pieces of work for the course.
