Ellie has worked with learners aged 6 months to 86 years, with a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities. She has taught in the community and in the workplace, and has even taught on a double-decker bus.
Ellie is passionate about ensuring that her classes are safe, happy places where learners can thrive. She has patience and good humour and wants you to enjoy your learning.
“If you don’t ‘get it’ straight away it’s not your fault. It’s my job to take the time to encourage you to learn in imaginative and engaging ways until you have your own ‘light-bulb moments’. The only ‘stupid’ question is the one you don’t ask: in my classes you can ask as many questions (as many times) as you like.”
Ellie has a Certificate in Education from the University of Plymouth.
