French: conversation intermediate: FULL
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has already completed French Intermediate 3 with Learn Devon or has studied French for around three years.
During this course you will develop your range of vocabulary and fluency in French by reading, listening to and discussing topics of cultural and linguistic interest. Topics may include:
– Current affairs
Each session will focus on a different topic giving you the opportunity to practise and develop your French.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will support you during the course via the online sessions. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course. Regular feedback on your progress and suggestions as to how to improve will be given.
Additional costs and requirements
You will have studied French for at least 3 years and will be confident using a range of tenses. You will already be able to hold a conversation on different topics and know how to use present, past and future tenses.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will need a laptop / PC / phone / tablet with a camera and microphone/headphones and a good internet connection. You will need to take notes, either using pen and paper or on a laptop / PC / phone / tablet

“How will I learn?
You will be working with your tutor and other learners using an online video platform called Zoom. The course aims to be fun and varied. You will be introduced to the new topic as a class. There will also be individual, pair and small group activities to help you practise the language. The course will include a range of topics and learning methods such as presentations, audio and video clips.
There will be optional homework. It is also useful to go over your notes between sessions.
