Who is this course for?
This fun, free Holiday French taster workshop is suitable for beginners who would like to speak and understand a little bit of French whilst on holiday or those who would just to learn a language. It’s an opportunity to try out a Learn Devon class in a sociable setting and meet the tutor and other learners.
A brief ‘try out’ of some of the language, and culture of France, designed to be interesting and fun. It will give you an idea of whether you would like to like to join one of our courses and continue learning.
Support and feedback
The tutor will ask at the start what interests you have in France and learning French and identify the level you are at. You will be given feedback and encouragement throughout. At the end you will have a chance to say what you discovered or learnt.
Additional costs and requirements
A notepad and pen or a tablet might be helpful.
Please bring a willingness to “have a go” and plenty of enthusiasm, plus a sense of humour!
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You’ll leave with some ideas that you can practise at home.
You will also be encouraged to make use of other resources such as internet websites for self-study activities.

“I simply love teaching adults how to work against all those negative reports, whether from others or within and watching them surpass all expectations. Especially when they start to believe that they really do have the power to achieve something that was never before thought possible”.
