Office 365 - beyond basics
Who is this course for?
This course is the follow-on course from Getting Started with Office 365.
You will consolidate the learning you have already done and use the same programs and features in Office 365 to carry out more complex tasks. You will focus on one area (either Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) and use more advanced features to become a competent and confident user of Office 365.

You will get feedback from your tutor in the sessions to let you know how you are doing, and you will also complete an individual learning plan to help you keep on track and so you know where you are in the course and what you need to do next.
Additional costs and requirements
Is it a challenge to keep your device’s operating system and Office applications /software up to date? Do you find it hard to use the advanced features of Word, Excel, or PowerPoint? Do you find it tricky to identify and use online resources to improve your own digital skills? If you would like to develop these skills with a focus on Office 365, this course is for you.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
All equipment and hardware and software for this workshop is provided. (Please do not bring your own device as it may not be compatible).

You should have completed our Getting Started with Office 365 course before starting this course or if not, you will have a short initial assessment to make sure you are on the right course at the right level.
You may like to make your own notes so a pen/pencil and notebook will be useful

You can go on to one of our free Essential Digital Skills qualifications, which are longer, online courses (up to 45 hours), with an online assessment at the end which must be completed to give you the Essential Digital Skills Qualification. ”
