Using creative aspects of MS Word
Who is this course for?
Anyone with basic computer skills, who has Microsoft Word installed on their device and wishes to explore some if its more creative aspects
Course content
This workshop will cover the following aspects of Word:
Font styles and colours
Borders and colouring them
Using shapes and filling them – gradients etc.
Inserting pictures and basic edits
Using drawing tools
Support and feedback
Support and feedback will be given by your tutor in this workshop.
Additional costs and requirements
This course is delivered online and provided free of charge. You will, however, need a computer or a tablet with a stable internet connection, as well as a built in or external microphone and camera to attend the course.
To be able to take part in online learning you will be sent a zoom invitation with your access code.
You will need MICROSOFT WORD INSTALLED on your computer or laptop before the session starts.
About the tutor
Paul has been a tutor with Learn Devon since 2000, when he began teaching IT. Since then, he has expanded his teaching curriculum and taught a variety of courses, including Employability, Art, Digital Photography, Management Training and Shopping Online.
With extensive experience of working in the legal and financial sector in London and having been involved in projects in Thailand and Saudi Arabia, Paul uses his understanding and knowledge of the world of business in his teaching. He believes that people have a right to access learning opportunities and supports them to achieve their full potential.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys creating art, music and photography, and keeps active by walking and cycling. He reads widely and has an interest in psychology and philosophy.
