ESOL - the conversation cafe
Who is this course for?
This course is for learners whose first language is not English, who would like to improve their English conversation skills. You will be working in a small friendly group with a qualified and experienced tutor and it will give you a chance to meet and talk to other learners in an informal, supportive environment.
The course will be based on practising spoken English, to build confidence and to help you improve your pronunciation and listening skills. Topics chosen will enable you to interact with others on everyday issues, expanding your vocabulary and developing grammatical awareness. You will work in pairs and small groups, as well as individually and will be guided and supported at all times by the tutor.
