Who is this course for?

This course is for people who are beginning to look for work and would like to know how to organise paperwork, email and their time to prepare for employment.

Course content

The tutor will give you ideas about how to get more organised and how to look at the various aspects of a task to consider the different actions that will be needed.

Support and feedback

You will get feedback from your tutor in the session to let you know how you are doing, and you will also complete an individual learning plan to help you keep on track and so you know where you are in the course and what you need to do next.

There are no entry requirements.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

All equipment for the course is provided. (Please do not bring your own device as it may not be compatible).

How will I learn?

The tutor will guide you through the workshop using a variety teaching techniques and group discussions. You will be able to ask questions and talk to the tutor and the other learners.

You may like to make your own notes so a pen/pencil and notebook will be useful.

You can go on to one our free Beeline for Digital Skills qualifications, which are longer, 10 hour courses, which will help you to make more progress with your digital skills, and practice further what you have learned on this course.
