• Explore how you and others react to situations that are challenging
• Understanding and managing the body’s reaction to challenging
• Recognise the limitations of perceived and real risks
• Gaining strength, courage and confidence in every life experience.
• Identify skills and tactics that can help reduce fears at work and social situations

About the tutor

Your tutor will be Tim Griffith.

After the past 15 years enjoying life around Poole harbour, delivering FE and HE education programmes, Tim is excited to be joining the Learn Devon team and to return close to his childhood home in Devon. Over recent years he has been supporting businesses in Dorset and Hampshire with training and development; working with Tourism Parks, Outdoor Education Centres and the Emergency Services to develop and deliver apprenticeships. Away from work he enjoys a range of activities and is a keen surfer, mountain biker, sailor and skier; he can often be found out and about enjoying the fresh air and the great outdoors.
