Who is this course for?
If you want to build your confidence and explore how increased confidence can help you to find employment, then this course is for you. The course is aimed at those who are actively seeking employment, as well as those who will be doing so in the near future. Employment could mean either paid work or volunteering.

Support and feedback
Your tutor will give you support and feedback, both 1 to 1 and in the group setting.
Additional costs and requirements
You should bring a notebook and pen with you but all you really need is to be ready to come along and join in with the group!
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
No, but you may find it useful to practice some of the strategies you develop during the sessions in your everyday life, to continue building your confidence.
About the tutor
Caroline Gale has worked for Learn Devon for the past 18 years in a variety of roles. She has taught all age groups and abilities from preschool up to university level and has been involved in research, industry and running a rural business.
‘I enjoy the challenge of developing methods of teaching and learning for those who may previously have been unable to achieve using conventional techniques. My expectations are always very high and I endeavour to enable my learners to gain both skills and confidence.
