This course is aimed at anyone who needs to update or write a CV but is unsure how to do this.
The course will include:

• Exploring what employers are looking for in a CV
• Identifying common mistakes

About the tutor
Paul Milsom currently teaches ICT and Photography, mostly for unemployed people and those with long-term disabilities.
After studying A-Levels and Business Studies, Paul worked for as a Broker in the City for one of the largest Insurance Brokers where he undertook his Professional Qualifications. Paul’s work in this area then took him abroad where he was Technical Adviser to joint-venture companies being set up. Paul’s work included staff training, technical advice and servicing the accounts of major clients.
On his return to the U.K., Paul then set up his own company which provided training seminars and workshops to address issues such as personal growth, empowerment and making breakthroughs. This he did for 6 years before returning to work abroad again as Technical Manager and Training Co-Ordinator for 500 staff as well as being a designated signatory for Lloyds of London.
Paul is also an accomplished Photographer. He has won a number of national competitions and his work and articles have appeared in many magazines. Paul has undertaken many commissions and has taught Photography to AS Level. Paul has also held a number of exhibitions.
Paul is also and proficient artist and composer of computer-based music.
