Digital Skills for Life
Who is this course for?
Anyone who wants to improve their digital skills for everyday life.
These short qualifications are designed to help you to develop the digital skills that you can use to make everyday life easier.
Using digital devices (at least one of these types: laptops/tablets/mobile phones and personal computers), you will be learning how to communicate with friends and /or family and how to find useful information (e.g. bus timetables) and how to save information and return to it later
Your tutor will help you to build a folder of evidence to show how you have learned these new skills.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will give you ongoing support for your learning and will also give you feedback to let you know how you are doing, what you have achieved and what you need to complete.
Additional costs and requirements
This course is provided free of charge. You will, however, need a computer or tablet. To enrol on this course, you will first need to meet with one of our friendly Learning Support Coordinators. Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
Your tutor may ask you to do some work in between sessions.
