This course is suitable for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. It is for anyone who is being supported on a day-to-day basis, but who is hoping to be more independent in their daily life.

Course content
On this course you will be learning easy ways to deal with a range of difficult situations that you feel happy and confident to use.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will give practical demonstrations, have discussions, set tasks, give feedback and will support you throughout the course. You will work with your tutor on your personal goals within the structure of the course.
Additional costs and requirements
This course is delivered online and provided free of charge. You will, however, need a computer or a tablet with a stable internet connection, as well as a built in or external microphone and camera to attend the course.
About the tutor
Caroline Ross currently works as a tutor for Learn Devon. Prior to this she worked for Integer training as a tutor and also as nationwide trainer and major accounts supervisor for Manpower plc.
Caroline has a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) and a City & Guilds Level 4 Certificate of Adult Literacy Subject Specialist qualification. Caroline’s area of interest is teaching adults with learning difficulties
Caroline has been heavily involved in her children’s school, being the Secretary then Chairperson for the PTA for 8 years. She helps out at the local Youth Club and is hoping to be involved in more youth projects in the future.
