Who is this course for?

This course is for adults with learning difficulties and this course is suitable for anyone who is being supported on a day-to-day basis but who is hoping to be more independent in their daily life . Complete beginners are welcome.

Course content

We will provide stimulating ideas for art activities and support you to create your own art work. You will also be offered the opportunity to discover the many ways that a computer can be used in Art. Each week, you will be creating your own exciting art projects. You will have lots of fun learning about the different types of art tools and the many ways to produce artwork.

Your tutor will keep you informed of your achievements

Additional costs and requirements

It is always useful to bring an apron and clean bag to put your finished art projects in when you take them home

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

Not unless you would like to. If that is the case, the tutor will be happy to supply you with something to do at home

About the tutor

Caroline Ross currently works as a tutor for Learn Devon. Caroline has a Post Graduate Certification of Education (PGCE) and a City & Guilds Level 4 Certificate of Adult Literacy Subject Specialist qualification. Caroline’s area of teaching is adults with learning difficulties.
