Who is this course for?

If you are an adult with learning difficulties and disabilities or you are being supported on a day-to-day basis, but hope to be more independent in their daily life, then this workshop is for you.

Would you like to learn how to make a potted fairy garden to celebrate the summer season?

Course content

You will be making a fairy garden which is a miniature garden in a pot.

Support and feedback

Your tutor will give you verbal feedback on your progress during the workshop.

Additional costs and requirements

It is advisable that you bring an apron/old shirt to cover your clothes while working on your fairy garden.

All materials will be provided but there may be a small charge for materials.

There are no entry requirements.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

You will not need to do anything in your own time.

About the tutor

Amanda graduated from the University of Kent and worked at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, she moved to the West Country and has worked for Learn Devon, tutoring adult and community learning courses for Devon County Council since 2002.
