Signs of Autumn matters

Kennaway Centre, Exmouth

Who is this course for?

If you enjoy exploring new and different art ideas, then this course is for you. This is a course for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. If you are being supported on a day-to-day basis and hope to be more independent in your daily life, then this course is for you.

Course content

You will be looking for the first signs of Autumn and following the season with paintings and drawings.

You will look at how the artists Gustav Klimt, Georgia O’Keefe and Wassily Kandinsky made Autumn artworks. We will go to the park to keep an eye on the season’s progress, comparing and contrasting with other seasons to complete your projects.

Support and feedback

During the course you will be carefully guided to produce your art and will be supported throughout. Your tutor will work with you to check your progress and agree what you need to do to achieve the results that you want.

Additional costs and requirements

There are no entry requirements and you do not need to bring anything except an apron to protect your clothes.

Will I have to do anything outside of the session?

You do not need to do anything in your own time but you may enjoy practising some of the techniques that you learn
