Art journal matters
Who is this course for?
If you are an adult with learning difficulties and disabilities or you are being supported on a day-to-day basis but hope to be more independent in your daily life, and you are creative, enjoy new and different Art ideas and want to improve your English skills then this course is for you.
You will learn:
• Creative art techniques
• Speaking and listening skills
• Writing skills
By the end of the course you will make a personal Art journal containing your own beautiful pages using your writing.
When the course has finished you will have a beautiful Art journal to be proud of.
Support and feedback
During the course you will be carefully guided to produce your art pages and writing and will be supported throughout. Your tutor will work with you to check your progress and agree what you need to do to achieve the results that you want.
Additional costs and requirements
You will be assessed at the beginning of the course to make sure you are in the right group for your needs.
All materials will be supplied but you might like to bring an apron to protect your clothes.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
You will not need to do anything outside of the class. However, the tutor will give you ideas and potential projects that you could do at home when practicing what you have learnt.
