Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. It is for anyone who is being supported on a day-to-day basis, but who is hoping to be more independent in their daily life. You will be looking to take part in fun activities and learn new skills in making things and exploring creating art and craft pieces. Complete beginners are welcome.
Please Note: There will be no session on Thursday 30 May or 13 June.
You will be learning in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment, amongst friends. This course will cover a range of activities including creating arts and crafts connected with the colours and feelings of the seasons. Spend some time outside during the course (weather permitting) collecting and creating.
Make items such as wind chimes, sun catchers and mobiles.
You can also make new friends and find out about how to get involved in other opportunities and courses.
Support and feedback
Your tutor will be supporting you throughout the course. They will work with you to check on how you are doing and agree what you need to do to achieve the results that you want.
Additional costs and requirements
There are no entry requirements and you do not need to bring anything as all materials will be supplied.
Will I have to do anything outside of the session?
Not unless you would like to. If that is the case, the tutor will be happy to supply you with something to do at home.
